A friendly cook is required for a busy multi generational family holiday gathering (ages 76 years to 4 years old). The cook must be happy to cook for up to 16 people (4 of which are children aged 5-8 years). The house is large and they are renting it for the week. The cook must be happy to cook in an open plan kitchen with lots of people coming in and out. They may also have some friends coming to visit on occasions.
Between 13th June to 31st July - any days between these dates, live out help is required for a High Profile family staying in residence for this period. Minimum 8 hour days. Ideally starting from 7.30am for 8 hours, but there is some flexibility to start later so if you have any availability between 13th June - 31st July please contact us. Can be longer hours if wanted.
A live out, sole charge nanny is required for a lovely family in Wyck Rissington for identical twin boys aged 2.5 years old. The nanny needs to be fun, gentle natured and love children. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience with young children and be able able to offer educational support and be creative in creating fun activities to support their learning. The nanny should love the outdoors and be willing to don wellies and be outside come rain or shine due to the rural nature of the role. The nanny will also need to assist with all general nursery duties.
A wonderful opportunity - an under butler is required to join the service team in a large private household based near Burford in Oxfordshire. Duties will include (but not limited to) serving and clearing breakfast, lunch and dinner, setting tables, clearing tables, washing up. You will be under the direction of the Head Butler and must be flexible and able to follow instruction.
Excellent chef who excels at cooking healthy, fresh, Italian or Mediterranean style food, who is capable of catering to differing diet requirements, allergies and can be flexible with numbers. Fantastic opportunity for a houskeeper to join a busy team in a large private household near Burford. You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 (two consecutive days off). The housekeeper must be happy, and prepared, to work every other weekend. If the housekeeper would prefer to work every weekend, with two week days off this would be great too, but not essential.
To start in July/August 2024. A fit, pro-active and hard working LIVE IN handyperson/driver/assistant gardener is required at a private home in a rural part of the South West. The candidate must have Internal and External handyperson/DIY and decorating skills and should be prepared to assist with the gardening (when required) and also act occasionally as driver/ chauffeur.
5 Aug - 8 Oct 2024. An experienced, well presented, fit and active Freelance House Manager is required to manage a large property for the Grouse Shoot season - managing the hall itself and the team of staff which is inclusive of 5 cleaners and 5 front of house staff, plus assisting the owner ands the shooting guests (who stay on site). Must be happy working in a rural location on a beautiful rural Estate.
There are 9-12 rowers for Henley Regatta visiting from the USA and staying in a private house and they will need a hearty dinner cooked each evening with the person taking responsibility for planning, shopping and preparing this meal as well as putting items out for breakfast such as fruit, cereal, bread etc. 9 for the first week with then possibly expanding to 11 or 12 in the week of 1st July.
A full time, permanent professional, organised cook is required for a family of 4 based in Oxford and near Stow on the Wold. This is a Monday to Friday position for 4 people (2 kids, 2 adults). Ideally the cook will live out so will be within driving distance to Stow on the Wold and Oxford. Flexibility to work a weekend, if the clients are entertaining (with notice) is important.
A good cook is required for a family holiday on the Isle of Wight between 12th - 24th July. The clients could be flexible on start and finish date, for the right person: If the cook is not available to start until 14th/15th July that is fine too. The cook definitely needs to be a driver (they can use the clients car for shopping). To do breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to 10 people. They will all be teenagers/adults. They are a very active, fit family who will be out and about a lot but eating meals at the house. They really love healthy, modern, fresh, clean food.
A Live in temporary professional career Nanny is required for a lovely family in North Cotswolds - For 3 children aged 7, 5, 5. To assist with all round general children/household related duties - including getting children ready for school, tidying the home, caring for the children, entertaining the children and organising age appropriate activities, folding laundry, food prep, assisting the mother with ad hoc tasks, and school drop offs and pick ups. To assist with giving the children dinner and tidying up the kitchen - the mother will do bathtime and bedtime but the nanny needs to be organised and able to assist with getting stuff ready for school the next day etc.
A member of service staff is required to work nights from 10pm - 6am 5 days a week (will include weekends every other week). Duties will include (but not limited to) making drinks, making light snacks, attending to the principals requests and requirements. If service is not required then the candidate must be happy to do cleaning duties where required.
